Notes
'Sunday Bright Orange' celosia (Celosia argentea 'Sunday Bright Orange') is an annual for borders, cut flowers, and accents. It is tender to cold, and the first hard frost will kill it. This plant likes full sun and dry to average, sandy or loamy soil. The orange blooms open in summer and again in autumn, and butterflies and bees visit them. This selection has improved height and uniformity for cutting. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal.
Pairs well with California Giants zinnia, Mister Frans dahlia, and Hyacinth bean.
