Notes
'Sunday Gold' celosia (Celosia argentea 'Sunday Gold') is an annual for borders, cut flowers, and accents. It is tender to cold, and the first hard frost will kill it. This plant likes full sun and dry to average, sandy or loamy soil. It grows fast to 4 to 8 inches tall, and butterflies and bees visit the golden yellow plumes. It sits low on the menu for deer. Drought tolerance makes it easy to grow.
Pairs well with Vinca, Profusion zinnia, and Pink Champagne clematis.
