Notes
'Sunday Mix' celosia (Celosia argentea 'Sunday Mix') is an annual for borders, cut flowers, and accents. Frost will kill it, so set it out only after the last frost in spring. This plant likes full sun and dry to average, sandy or loamy soil. It grows fast and stays erect, and butterflies and bees visit the multicolor blooms. Deer tend to browse other plants first. Cut stems for bouquets in summer or autumn.
Pairs well with Vinca, Profusion zinnia, and Black-eyed Susan vine.
