Notes

'Sungod' zinnia (Zinnia elegans 'Sungod') is an annual for borders, cut flowers, containers, and pollinator gardens. It is not cold-hardy and will not survive freezing temperatures. This plant likes full sun and dry to moist soil of most types. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the blooms, which last from summer into autumn. Deer tend to browse other plants first. Cut stems often for bouquets.

Pairs well with Spider flower, Snapdragon, and First Knight fountain grass.
