'Sunmist' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Sunmist') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The flowers have white petals with gold staminodes. The petals overlap, so the bloom keeps its shape better than its parent. Sunmist is larger than Isani Gidui and has stronger stems.

Pairs well with Catnip, Carnaval De Nice tulip, Western sword fern, and Winterberry.
