Notes

'Sunny' maple (Acer shirasawanum 'Sunny') is a tree for specimen planting, containers, and fall color. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. New leaves emerge bright yellow and finely cut, with burnt orange margins. They turn orange to red in fall. It grows about 6 to 10 feet tall, so it suits small yards.

Pairs well with Ostrich fern, Dawn redwood, and Queen of Night tulip.
