Notes

'Moonrise' maple (Acer shirasawanum 'Moonrise') is a small tree for borders, containers, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. The golden yellow to yellowish green leaves open with red new growth. It grows slowly, with a full, rounded canopy.

Pairs well with Rose of sharon, Grape hyacinth, and Clematis.
