Notes

'Sunset Glory' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Sunset Glory') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The flowers open in the medium season. Buds are deep red, and the cupped, crinkled petals open deep rose pink or red. Gold and yellow staminodes curl in the center.

Pairs well with Catnip, Western sword fern, African marigold, and Carnaval De Nice tulip.
