Notes
'Sunset Snappy' Indian blanket (Gaillardia 'Sunset Snappy') is a perennial for borders, pollinator gardens, and xeriscapes. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun, average moisture, and sandy or loamy soil. Red and yellow bicolor blooms attract butterflies and bees. It tolerates salt, so it suits spots near roads or walks. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by.
Pairs well with Aromatic aster, Cat's Pajamas nepeta, and Foxtail barley.
