Notes

'Frenzy' Indian blanket (Gaillardia 'Frenzy') is a perennial for borders and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to average, sandy or loamy soil. The red flowers have yellow tips and a burgundy center, and they bloom in spring, summer, and autumn. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Butterflies and bees visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Goldenrod, Feather reed grass, Ice plant, and Big bluestem.
