Notes

'Tizzy' Indian blanket (Gaillardia 'Tizzy') is a perennial for borders and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to average, sandy or loamy soil. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Red to rose petals surround a russet brown center, and the flowers bloom in spring, summer, and autumn. Butterflies and bees visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Woolly yarrow, Switchgrass, and Feather reed grass.
