Notes

'Sunshine' Colorado blue columbine (Aquilegia coerulea 'Sunshine') is a perennial for borders, containers, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. It blooms in spring and again in summer, and butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the flowers.

Pairs well with Foxglove, Lady's mantle, Silver feather grass, and Purple Sensation ornamental onion.
