Notes

'Sunshine' dahlia (Dahlia 'Sunshine') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It blooms in summer and again in autumn. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the flowers. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything.

Pairs well with Magnus coneflower, Waltraut sneezeweed, First Knight fountain grass, and Catmint.
