Notes

'Suzette' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Suzette') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The large double blooms open in mid to late spring in clear rose-pink with deeper old-rose centers. Yellow stamens brighten the flowers, which are mildly fragrant. Stiff stems hold the blooms upright.

Pairs well with Dancing Queen hosta, Indian grass, and Scentara Double Blue lilac.
