Notes

'Swans in Flight' Siberian iris (Iris sibirica 'Swans in Flight') is a perennial for borders, low maintenance beds, and shade gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet soil of most types. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. It forms a clump 24 to 36 inches tall and blooms in spring and again in summer. Butterflies and hummingbirds visit the flowers.

Pairs well with Brookside crane's-bill, Lady's mantle, Purple Sensation ornamental onion, and Royal fern.
