Notes

'Sweet Hips' rose (Rosa 'Sweet Hips') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. It bears fragrant fuchsia and magenta blooms from late spring into early autumn, and bees visit them. Jay Kapac bred it in 2019.

Pairs well with Wild bergamot, Royal Purple smoketree, and Stargazer lily.
