Notes

'Sweet Pink' dianthus (Dianthus barbatus 'Sweet Pink') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy or loamy soil. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. It forms a dense, fragrant mound of pink blooms that attract butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. It makes a high-quality, cool-season cut flower.

Pairs well with Cora Louise peony, Butterfly bush, and Stained Glass hosta.
