Notes
'Sweet Rewards' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Sweet Rewards') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Soft salmon-pink double flowers form full, puffy balls up to 5½ inches wide. The plant stays short and strong at about 24 inches tall, and each stem carries one or two buds. Roy G. Klehm bred it.
Pairs well with Lupine, New England aster, and Miss Kim lilac.
