Notes

'Sweet Treat' peony (Paeonia 'Sweet Treat') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. The fragrant blooms are light pink and cream with orange-red flares, and bees and butterflies visit them. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. Donald Robert Smith bred it in 2025.

Pairs well with White Swan coneflower, Dancing Queen hosta, Quick Fire panicle hydrangea, and Cheerfulness daffodil.
