Notes

'Sweetheart' sweet cherry (Prunus avium 'Sweetheart') is a fruit tree for borders, food gardens, and low maintenance planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist soil of most types. It grows in a columnar shape and blooms in spring with fragrant flowers. Bees and butterflies visit the blooms, and birds come for the fruit.

Pairs well with Bosc pear, Woodland strawberry, and Ellagance Purple lavender.
