Notes
'Synaeda Blue' tulip (Tulipa 'Synaeda Blue') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. It bears purple blooms from early to late spring. The flowers stand 12 to 24 inches tall, so they make a fine cut bouquet.
Pairs well with Delft Blue common hyacinth, Thalia daffodil, Armenian grape hyacinth, and Mistress tulip.
