Notes

'Delft Blue' common hyacinth (Hyacinthus orientalis 'Delft Blue') is a bulb for borders, containers, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Its fragrant, light violet-blue flowers open from early to late spring, and bees visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Greig's tulip, Blue fescue, and Curly Fries hosta.
