Notes

'Talisman' rose (Rosa 'Talisman') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. The fragrant yellow blend blooms appear in late spring, again from early to late summer, and in early autumn. Bees visit the flowers, and the upright stems carry thorns, so wear gloves when you prune. Alexander W. Montgomery Jr bred it in 1929.

Pairs well with Anise hyssop, Royal Purple smoketree, and Sundrops.
