Notes

'Talud' spotted beebalm (Monarda 'Talud') is a perennial for borders, pollinator gardens, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. The fragrant flowers bloom in early to late spring and early to late summer. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Bartzella peony, Cornflower, and Royal Purple smoketree.
