Notes

'Tamukeyama' Japanese maple (Acer palmatum 'Tamukeyama') is a shrub for specimen, accent, woodland, and container use. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. It grows slowly into a broad shape. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Bees and birds visit it, and it tolerates drought once settled in.

Pairs well with Wood forget-me-not, Ballerina tulip, and Lamb’s ear.
