Notes

'Tangerine' peony (Paeonia 'Tangerine') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. The large, semi-double flowers open in soft apricot and fade to light yellow and then white. Plants grow up to 40 inches tall, and the blooms may need light support.

Pairs well with Magnus coneflower, Krossa Regal hosta, and Indian grass.
