Notes
'Tango' weigela (Weigela Florida 'Tango') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, specimen planting, and foundation beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Red flowers with yellow throats open in spring and again in summer, and hummingbirds and bees visit the blooms. Deer tend to browse other plants first. It is also salt tolerant.
Pairs well with Green Spice coral bells, Cinnamon fern, Stargazer lily, and Quick Fire panicle hydrangea.
