Notes

'Temple of Apollo' peony (Paeonia 'Temple of Apollo') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. Joshua Scholten bred it, and the fragrant double pink flowers fade to light pink and cream-white. It stays compact and upright, so it needs no support.

Pairs well with Perennial candytuft, Prairie dropseed, and Nodding onion.
