Notes

'Temple of Saturn' peony (Paeonia 'Temple of Saturn') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The double salmon pink flowers fade to cream and light salmon, with darker red on the ruffled guard petals. Upright stems need no support, and the blooms are good for cutting. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice.

Pairs well with Magnus coneflower, Minuteman hosta, and Blue grama.
