Notes

'Thalia' peony (Paeonia 'Thalia') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen use. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. The fragrant, dark pink flowers have two rows of petals and bloom in late spring. Each stem carries one bud, and the stems stay strong.

Pairs well with Rainbow's End hosta, Spiderwort, and Nelly Moser clematis.
