'The Bride' gladiolus (Gladiolus colvillei 'The Bride') is a bulb for borders, cutting gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun. Funnel-shaped white flowers have a creamy middle vein and bloom over a long period in summer. Plant the bulbs in well-drained soil. Leave the foliage in place after cutting back the flower stalk, and add mulch in winter.
Pairs well with May Night salvia, Ruby rose, and Buffalo grass.
