Notes

'The Lizard' tulip (Tulipa 'The Lizard') is a bulb for spring beds, borders, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun. Purple flowers with feathers and flames of deep lilac and rose open on a yellow and white background in early to late spring. Every flower has a different pattern. Feed it with bulb food when shoots emerge, and let the foliage die back naturally after bloom.

Pairs well with Perennial candytuft, Maiden pink, and Mount Hood daffodil.
