Notes
'Thomas C. Thurlow' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Thomas C. Thurlow') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The large double blooms open salmon-flesh and fade to white, with a rich, spicy perfume. Strong stems hold the flowers upright. Well-established plants may give the best flower form.
Pairs well with Blonde Ambition blue grama, Sedge, Cheerfulness daffodil, and Showy milkweed.
