Notes
Threadleaf giant hyssop (Agastache rupestris) is a perennial for borders, pollinator gardens, rock gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. The gray-green leaves smell a little like root beer, and hummingbirds love the apricot-orange flowers. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Give it good winter drainage.
Pairs well with Blue fescue, Sundrops, and Garlic chives.
