'Tianxiangranmei' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Tianxiangranmei') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Double white flowers open in late spring and carry purple flares at their centers. The blooms are fragrant and face upward. Plants grow upright to about 80 inches and need no support.

Pairs well with Stargazer lily, September Charm anemone, and Black chokeberry.
