Notes

'Tiger' fig (Ficus carica 'Tiger') is a fruit plant for borders, containers, and food gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. It is grown for sweet, strawberry red fruit with green and yellow stripes. The fruit needs a lot of heat and ripens late, so try a pot in a hot spot or a sun room to help it ripen.

Pairs well with Pineapple guava, Thai basil, and Society garlic.
