Notes

'Tina' sargent crabapple (Malus toringo 'Tina') is a tree for borders, containers, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist soil of most types. It stays small, with a spreading, flat-topped shape. The white flowers are fragrant and attract butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds. It is self-fertile and needs little care.

Pairs well with Weigela, Perennial candytuft, Gladiator ornamental onion, and Gertrude Jekyll rose.
