Notes

'Tony Boy' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Tony Boy') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its double pompom flowers open in mid to late spring with a blush and greenish blend. They slowly fade to white, but one petal on each flower stays light green. Amos E. Kunderd bred it in 1951.

Pairs well with Pale purple coneflower, Garlic chives, and Sweet pepperbush.
