Notes

'Toprose' rose (Rosa 'Toprose') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. It stays upright and compact, and it grows about 28 inches tall. Deep yellow, fragrant blooms appear in late spring, summer, and early autumn. Anne G. Cocker bred it in 1992, and bees visit the flowers.

Pairs well with Japanese forest grass, Niobe clematis, and Spurge.
