Notes

'Toronto' tulip (Tulipa 'Toronto') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. Its orange-red flowers open from early to late spring. The plants stay about 12 inches tall, so they fit well in the front of a bed or in a pot.

Pairs well with City of Haarlem common hyacinth, Valerie Finnis Armenian grape hyacinth, White Splendour Greek thimbleweed, and Cassini tulip.
