Notes

'Tortuosa' weeping willow (Salix babylonica 'Tortuosa') is a tree for specimen planting, winter interest, and rain gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It grows fast and reaches 20 to 30 feet tall with a broad shape. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. Bees, butterflies, and birds visit it.

Pairs well with Rising Sun Texas redbud, Chokeberry, and Karl Foerster feather reed grass.
