Notes

'Pendula' weeping willow (Salix babylonica 'Pendula') is a tree for specimen planting, winter interest, and rain gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet soil. Silver green blooms appear in early to late spring and attract butterflies and bees. It sits low on the menu for deer. Give it plenty of room to spread.

Pairs well with Thalia, Karl Foerster feather reed grass, and Rising Sun Texas redbud.
