'Tower Silver' aster (Callistephus chinensis 'Tower Silver') is an annual for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It shrugs off cool spells and light frost, though a hard freeze will damage it. This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. The peony-type blooms come in lavender, white, and bicolor. Butterflies and bees visit the flowers.
Pairs well with Double Zahara Fire zinnia, Red fescue, and Charm peony.
