Notes

'Charm' peony (Paeonia 'Charm') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 2, or down to -50°F (-46°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Dark red double flowers open from early to late spring and attract butterflies. Alonzo B. Franklin bred it.

Pairs well with Rosea lily of the valley, Drumstick primrose, Red fescue, and Globosa Colorado spruce.
