Notes
'Trajan' crabapple (Malus asiatica 'Trajan') is a tree for use as a specimen. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. It blooms in mid spring with pink to white flowers. The narrow form stands 72 to 96 inches tall and only 18 to 24 inches wide, so it fits small spaces.
Pairs well with Ruby Spice sweet pepperbush, Angel Cheeks peony, and Gladiator ornamental onion.
