Notes

'Travemünde' rose (Rosa 'Travemünde') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Medium red blooms are fragrant and appear in late spring, summer, and early autumn. Bees visit the flowers, and the compact habit keeps it tidy. Reimer Kordes bred it in 1970.

Pairs well with Shasta daisy, Silver sage, and Clematis.
