Notes
'Tricolor' autumn crocus (Crocus sieberi 'Tricolor') is a bulb for borders, containers, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and most soil types. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. Its fragrant purple flowers open from winter into spring and attract bees.
Pairs well with Pickwick Dutch crocus, Common snowdrop, and Lenten rose.
