Notes

'Ronald Ginns' autumn crocus (Crocus sieberi 'Ronald Ginns') is a bulb for borders, containers, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun. The fragrant flowers are white with purple streaks inside and out, and yellow centers show off the orange pistils. Species crocus emerge early, so you can plant them in a lawn too. Hold off on mowing as long as possible so the bulbs can build up energy for next year.

Pairs well with Snowdrop, High-bush blueberry, and Panicle hydrangea.
