Notes

'Triumph of Dionysos' peony (Paeonia 'Triumph of Dionysos') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Early semi-double flowers open salmon pink and fade to lighter pink, and bees and butterflies visit the fragrant blooms. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Joshua Scholten bred it.

Pairs well with Praying Hands hosta, Standing Ovation little bluestem, and Pink Impression tulip.
