'Tropical Sunset' rose (Rosa 'Tropical Sunset') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, cut flowers, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Yellow blend flowers open from early to late summer and have a sweet scent. Bees visit the blooms. Samuel Darragh McGredy IV bred it in 1998.
Pairs well with Bigleaf hydrangea, Prairie dropseed, and Grape hyacinth.
